About Ilyas Nadjafi
A vocalist specialized in Dhrupad, one of the oldest and most profound traditions of Indian classical music, as well as Sufi music from the Urdu and Persian traditions. His rigorous practice has allowed him to develop a deep understanding of Ragas, vocal techniques, improvisation and the expressive power of Dhrupad. Through his refined voice and mastery of melodic and rhythmic structures, he brings the essence of Indian classical music to life. Alongside his Dhrupad practice, he explores Urdu and Persian Sufi music, reflecting his Persian heritage and cultural roots. He has performed across India and Europe, both as a solo artist and as a vocal accompanist with his master. His music combines spirituality, tradition and artistic sensitivity, creating a bridge between cultures. With his performances, he shares the richness of Eastern vocal traditions with audiences around the world.
About Samim Daud
Samim Daud is a tabla player who grew up in an Afghan family where music was deeply appreciated and encouraged from an early age. Surrounded by this musical environment, he developed a strong connection to the rich rhythmic language and expressive sound of the tabla.
About Satyakam Mohkamsing
Satyakam Mohkamsing is an Indian violinist and composer, deeply rooted in the traditions of Indian classical music. He began his musical journey at a young age in Varanasi, India, and later studied under renowned masters including Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Pt. Dhruba Ghosh and Dr. N. Rajam. After completing his studies at Codarts Rotterdam, he continued his training in India, developing a unique approach that connects Eastern traditions with Western influences.
Satyakam has performed internationally in the Netherlands, India, Suriname and Thailand, and works as a composer and artistic director across genres. Through his project Colors of Consciousness, he aims to bring people and art disciplines together, celebrating diversity through music and creativity.
