Arrecife is een singer-songwriter duo bestaande uit Daniel Schneck en Lena López, muzikanten en muziekleraren uit de stad Buenos Aires, Argentinië.
Ze spelen eigen nummers, met hun gitaren en stemmen als hoofdrolspelers. Hun muziek is beïnvloed door traditionele Argentijnse folklore en tango, maar ook door de universele “songwriting” geschiedenis, die genres omvat als folk, rock, pop, etc. Hun serene concert nodigt het publiek om bij elk nummer in een nieuwe wereld te stappen.
Arrecife is onderdeel van de enorme muziekscene van de stad Buenos Aires. In februari en maart 2023 speelde het duo hun eerste tournee in het zuiden van Argentinië met concerten in Bariloche, El Bolsón, Villa la Angostura, San Martín de los Andes, Trevelin, Playa Unión, Puerto Pirámides.
In januari, februari en maart 2024 vindt hun eerste Europese tournee plaats. Ze presenteren het nieuwe album in Duitsland, Zwitserland en Nederland.

Arrecife is a singer-songwriter duet formed by Daniel Schneck and Lena López, musicians and music teachers from the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
They play original songs, with their guitars and voices as protagonists. Their music is influenced by traditional argentinian folklore and tango, but also by the universal “songwriting” history, that includes genres as folk, rock, pop, etc. The atmosphere of their concert is peaceful, acoustic and heartfelt.
They offer a show that invites the audience to have a joyful experience, and dive into the world of each song, which they present with a few words that give a hint of what the words are about.
Arrecife participates in the vast music scene of the City of Buenos Aires, playing live in different spaces. In February and March 2023 the duet performed his first tour in the south of the country with concerts in Bariloche, El Bolsón, Villa la Angostura, San Martín de los Andes, Trevelin, Playa Unión, Puerto Pirámides.
In January, February and March 2024 their first European tour takes place. They present the new album in different towns and cities in Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands: Nehren, Reutlingen, Tübingen, Stuttgart, Mannheim, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Munich, Penzing, Ulm, Darmstadt, Kilchberg, Amsterdam, The Hague.
They are now on their second Europe Tour this spring 2025.
About The artists
Daniel Schneck is a guitarist, tubist, composer and teacher. He formed and is part of various musical groups such as Jivers (vocal swing), “El Guitarrazo – Orquesta Escuela de Guitarras”, Diez de Centolla, Trío Araucaria, Todopoderoso Popular Marcial, and the Florencio Varela Municipal Symphony Orchestra. As a soloist, he independently released “Las canciones del caracol” grouped into a set of 4 EPs (Fuego / Infinito / Exorcismo / Verde) of his own songs on guitar and voice that build stories, views and reflections about the inner and intimate world. And the recently released new album “Los libros”. It is an album of songs created from literary works by contemporary Argentinian writers.
Lena López is a singer, guitarist, composer and teacher. She formed: Dominga, a song duo; Entredichas, vocal group; El Guitarrazo, guitar orchestra, etc. She is in the pre-production process of her first solo album. She also delves into the work of creating “versions” of songs, through a process of translating each song into her own language, sound and expressive perspective. She is a singing and guitar teacher, and develops different learning and research proposals in relation to collective/choral singing in different areas and formats.
