Aura Rascón betovert haar publiek met Indiase Ragas, eerst op de klassieke Bansuri (Indiase bamboefluit), en later op de dwarsfluit. De naam van de tablaspeler wordt binnenkort bekend gemaakt. Dit concert maakt deel uit van Sangam, onze serie rondom Indiase muziek en dans.
About Aura:
Aura Rascón is a Mexican / Dutch flutist and composer coming from a background in
traverse flute and music pedagogy in Western classical music (BA from the University of Sofia, Bulgaria). Being the first formal disciple from Latinoamerica of Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, she learned formally from him at the Conservatory of Rotterdam (BA & MA), The Netherlands, and traditionally at his Vrindaban Gurukul ashrams in India. She has been privileged to accompany her Guru in concerts in Europe, USA, Latinoamerica and India. She has toured extensively as well with her own projects in Asia, Europe and Latinoamerica and has been featured in National Radio and Television in Mexico, Argentina, France, Bulgaria, The Netherlands, including for official projects of the Embassy of India
