“het broeit onder het zand” (it simmers under the sand) is a new work by Hilde Wollenstein and Marat Beltser; an audiovisual performance exploring repetitive movements and a hypnosis state through multi-channel composition, and film.
Marat Beltser, born 1982 in Chernovitz, Ukraine, lives in Berlin. 2004-05 he studied Photography at Cavendish College, London. 2006-10 he studied Fine Arts at Bezel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem. 2012-15 he studied at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM).
Hilde Wollenstein, born 1997 in Culemborg, Netherlands, lives in The Hague and Berlin. 2015-18 she studied classical clarinet at the Conservatory in Utrecht. Since 2018 she studies Sonology at the Royal Conservatory, The Hague, currently following the masters programme.
