Theater De Regentes en Wijkz Segbroek zijn op zoek naar kunstenaars die actief zijn in stadsdeel Segbroek en een concept willen indienen voor een co-creatie project om eenzaamheid in ons stadsdeel tegen te gaan. Het project heeft als doel om mensen samen te brengen in de openbare ruimte – geïnspireerd door de wijken, pleinen, straten, parken, bankjes enz. van stadsdeel Segbroek.
We zijn op zoek naar geëngageerde kunstenaars die met hun project diverse groepen buurtbewoners kunnen verbinden en versterken. Co-creatie is daarbij essentieel: bewoners hebben invloed op zowel het proces als het eindresultaat.
Je bedenkt een concept en presenteert dit op 3 juli – de pitchdag. Als jouw concept wordt gekozen, ontwikkel je jouw project waarbij je actief de buurtbewoners betrekt. Theater De Regentes en Wijkz Segbroek ondersteunen je hierbij met hun expertise in theater, zorg & welzijn en netwerk.

Wat is het concept?
Een co-creatie project rondom het thema eenzaamheid dat duurzaam, inspirerend en vernieuwend is.
Over eenzaamheid
Eenzaamheid is een breed begrip. Je kunt het onderverdelen in sociale eenzaamheid en emotionele eenzaamheid. Sociale eenzaamheid is het missen van contact met mensen met wie je sociale kenmerken deelt. Emotionele eenzaamheid is het missen van een hechte, intieme band met anderen.
De oorzaken en ervaringen met eenzaamheid lopen uiteen. Om je alvast op weg te helpen hebben Wijkz en De Regentes via gesprekken in de Kas van Creatie https://theaterderegentes.nl/event/de-kas-van-creatie/, enquêtes en door te brainstormen al verhalen van bewoners opgehaald. Je kunt je hierdoor laten inspireren.
Over Segbroek
Onder stadsdeel Segbroek vallen de volgende wijken: Regentessekwartier, Valkenboskwartier, Heesterbuurt, Vruchtenbuurt, Bomen- en Bloemenbuurt en Vogelwijk. Het is een stadsdeel waarin sociale- en culturele achtergronden, bestaanszekerheid, leeftijden en levensstijlen uiteenlopen.
In het project werk je met buurtbewoners (co-creatie) en maak je gebruik van het stadsdeel Segbroek zelf. Kies een locatie in het stadsdeel of een materiaal of voorwerp dat veel voorkomt waar je project gaat plaatsvinden. Omdat je in co-creatie werkt, betekent dit dat je werk ontstaat/vorm krijgt gedurende de periode.
Wat is het budget?
Voor de maker(s) is een bedrag van € 1600 (ex btw) beschikbaar. Er staat daarnaast een vergelijkbaar bedrag gereserveerd voor alle benodigdheden.
Kosten als pr, ondersteunend productiepersoneel, technische ondersteuning etc. worden voorzien. Als jouw project wordt uitgekozen, maken we samen de begroting.
Wat zijn de criteria?
De selectie vindt plaats door een kleine jury van Wijkz en Regentes medewerkers op woensdag 3 juli . Bij inzending van je plan, hoor je hoe laat we je verwachten.
Waar wordt op gelet:
- Wat is de inhoud van je project?
- In hoeverre hou je rekening met co-creatie?
- In hoeverre speel je in op toegankelijkheid?
Bijvoorbeeld:
– Hoe ga je om met bewoners met een fysieke beperking?
– In het stadsdeel worden diverse talen gesproken. Hoe ga je daarmee om?
– Is het voor iedereen makkelijk om mee te doen? - In hoeverre ben je bezig met verbinding leggen tussen verschillende bewonersgroepen en/of wijken in het stadsdeel?
- Is er nagedacht over sociale duurzaamheid en eigenaarschap van de bewoners?
- Wat is de haalbaarheid van het gehele project? Denk er hierbij aan dat het gaat om een traject van ca. 4 maanden.
We hebben plek voor 1 tot 3 projecten.
Wat lever je in:
- Een projectplan (max 1 A4 of verwerk je plan in een korte video)
- Een planning (max half A4)
- Deel kort iets over eerder project waar je trots op bent (max half A4). Zo leren we je een beetje beter kennen!
Alle onderdelen voeg je samen tot 1 PDF van maximaal twee pagina’s.
Als je een video maakt, stuur deze dan op via Wetransfer.

Wat is de planning van het gehele project?
Open Call en selectie:
- 7 juni t/m 24 juni | vanaf 20:00 uur | Open Call
- 18 juni | tussen 10:00 en 15:00 uur | Mogelijkheid tot het stellen van vragen. Wil je hiervan gebruik maken, stuur dan een bericht aan celine@theaterderegentes.nl
- 3 juli | Pitchdag | Je hoort na je aanmelding hoe laat je verwacht wordt, en gaat in gesprek met een klein team van medewerkers van De Regentes en Wijkz
- 4 juli | Bekendmaking of jouw project is uitgekozen
Looptijd project :
- 5 juli t/m 17 juli | Tijdens een eerste verdiepend gesprek maken we samen een begroting en kijken we waar we je in kunnen ondersteunen
- 19 juli t/m 25 augustus | Theater De Regentes is dicht. Wijkz is wel aanwezig
- In september gaan we de wijken in
- 27, 28, 29 september is de Publieke aftrap van het project (rondom Burendag en De week tegen eenzaamheid)
- Looptijd project Fase 1: t/m half december 2024 uiterlijk.

Theater de Regentes (TDR) and Wijkz Segbroek are looking for artists who are active in Stadsdeel Segbroek and want to submit a concept for a co-creation project to counter loneliness in our district. We are looking for projects that bring people together in the public space, inspired by the neighborhood, the squares, streets, parks, banks, etc. We are looking for engaged artists who can connect and strengthen various groups of neighborhoods with their project. Co-creation is essential: Residents influence both the process and the outcome. You come up with a concept and present it on a pitch day. When your concept is chosen, you develop the work involving actively neighborhoods. Theater de Regentes and Wijkz Segbroek support you with their expertise in theatre, care & well-being and their network.

What is the concept?
For a new cultural participation project around the theme of loneliness we are looking for sustainable, inspiring & innovative projects.
About loneliness
Loneliness is a broad concept; You can subdivide it into social loneliness and emotional solitude. Social loneliness is the lack of contact with people with whom you share social traits. Emotional loneliness is the lack of a close, intimate bond with others.
The causes and experiences of loneliness vary, but in order to help you on your way, Wijkz & TDR have already collected stories from residents through conversations in the ‘Kas van Creatie’, surveys & brainstorms. You can get inspired by this. (see attachments).
About Segbroek
By Stadsdeel Segbroek we mean the following districts: Regentessekwartier, Valkenboskwartier and Heesterbuurt, Fruit and fruit districts, Bomen- and Bloemenbuurt and Vogelwijk. It is a district in which social and cultural backgrounds, livelihoods, ages and lifestyles vary greatly. We are looking for a proposal where you work in co-creation with neighborhoods and use Stadsdeel Segbroek itself. Choose a location in the neighborhood (or a material or object that is common) where your project takes place. Because co-creation is an essential part, it also means that your work is formed over a period of time. Further you will learn more about the duration of the project.
What’s the budget?
For the maker(s) an amount of 1600euro (ex VAT) is available, a comparable amount is reserved for each project for all supplies. Costs such as public relations, supporting production personnel, technical support etc. are provided. We’ll make the budget together with you, if your plan is chosen.
What are the criteria?
The selection will take place through a pitch on Wednesday 3 July for a small jury of
Wijkz and TDR employees. *When submitting your plan you will receive a timeslot.
Things to consider:
• What is the content of your project?
• To what extent do you take co-creation into account?
• To what extent do you play in on accessibility? For example:
o How do you deal with residents with physical disabilities?
o Several languages are spoken in the district, how do you handle them?
o Is it easy for everybody to join?
• To what extent are you engaged in connecting different groups of residents and/or neighborhoods in the district?
• Has social sustainability and ownership of the inhabitants been considered
• What is the feasibility of the whole project?
Keep in mind that it is about a journey /projectof approximately 4 months. We will have space for 1 to 3 projects. What are you submitting?
• A project plan (max 1 a4 or create a short video)
• A projectplanning (max half a4)
• And share briefly something about a project you’ve created in the past that you’re proud of (max half a4). That’s how we get to know you a little bit!
All components are added together to 1 PDF of up to 2 pages.

What is the planning of the whole project?

• July 3rd Pitch Day: You will receive a time slot when registering/submitting your proposal. You will interact with a small team of staff from Theater Regentes and Wijkz.

Project duration – creation phase
• In the period from July 5th to july 17th we like to have an in-depth conversation and first appointment with you. Together we make a budget and see where and how we can support your plan. Lets make it work!
• 19 July to 25 Aug Theatre de Regentes closed, Wijkz is present.
• September: Dive into Segbroek, meet people.
• 27, 28, 29 Sept Possible Public opening of the project/trajectory (since it is Burendag and The Week Against Solitude)
• Project duration Phase 1: not later than mid-December 2024.
