Een ode aan Raymonda and La Bayadère

Laat je vervoeren tijdens deze voorstelling van Balletstudio Sharon Kleinegris, een begrip in Den Haag. Misschien dan wel de kleinste studio in hartje centrum, maar met al 20 jaar het grootste aanbod aan klassiek balletlessen voor jong en oud. De balletstudio staat bekend om haar grote, meeslepende producties.
Deze middag wordt je meegenomen in twee verhaallijnen geïnspireerd op twee wereldberoemde Russische klassiekers: Raymonda en La Bayadère. In Raymonda wordt een jonge prinses ontvoerd door bloeddorstige Saracenen. Een dappere ridder komt haar bevrijden. La Bayadère (‘de tempeldanseres’) speelt zich af in India waar het verhaal van de tempeldanseres Nikaja en de krijger Solor wordt verteld. De twee hebben elkaar eeuwige liefde en trouw beloofd. Maar De Radja heeft Solar beloofd aan zijn dochter en een
jaloerse hogepriester wil La Bayadère voor zichzelf.
Door deze twee melodramatische en exotische stukken heeft Sharon Kleinegris zich laten inspireren en stukken gecreëerd voor de leerlingen. Hierbij heeft ze deze keer niet de focus gelegd op de hoofdrolspelers, maar juist op het Corps de Ballet zodat je je kunt laten meenemen in het verhaal en het gevoel van de oorsprong van ballet, daar waar het gaat om de vormen en om de lijnen van het Corps de Ballet. Laat je vervoeren naar magische en mystieke plaatsen!

Sharon Kleinegris is a household name in The Hague. Perhaps the smallest studio in the heart
of the city center, but with the largest range of classical ballet lessons for young and old for
more than 20 years. The ballet studio is known for its large, compelling productions.
This afternoon you will be taken into two storylines inspired by two world-famous Russian
classics: Raymonda and La Bayadère. In Raymonda, a young princess is kidnapped by bloodthirsty Saracens. A brave knight comes to free her. La Bayadère (’the temple dancer’) is set in India where the story of the temple dancer Nikaja and the warrior Solor is told. The two have promised each other eternal love and loyalty. But The Radja has promised Solar to his daughter and a jealous high priest wants La Bayadère for
himself.
Sharon Kleinegris was inspired by these two melodramatic and exotic pieces and created
pieces for the students. This time she has not focused on the leading actors, but rather on the
Corps de Ballet so that you can be taken into the story and the feeling of the origins of ballet,
where it concerns the shapes and lines of the Corps de Ballet.
